Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-04-26

This policy sets out rules for using Vensider.io responsibly. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users, team members, and organizations using the Vensider.io platform.

1. Permitted use

Vensider.io is designed for legitimate vendor security assessment within your organization. You may use Vensider.io to:

  • Evaluate third-party vendors your organization is considering or currently using
  • Generate security review reports for internal use, procurement decisions, and risk registers
  • Share generated reports with colleagues and stakeholders within your organization
  • Use Vensider.io as part of a broader vendor due diligence or third-party risk management (TPRM) process
  • Submit reviews for software security consultants conducting assessments on behalf of their clients (with appropriate plan)

2. Prohibited use

You must not use Vensider.io to:

  • Generate or distribute misleading security assessments

Using Reviews out of context, selectively presenting findings, or publishing AI-generated output as an independent security audit without disclosure.

  • Commercially resell or redistribute Reviews

Selling, sublicensing, or commercially distributing generated reports without written permission from Vensider.io.

  • Circumvent plan limits or access controls

Using automation, shared credentials, or other means to generate reviews beyond your plan's monthly limit, or to access data belonging to other organizations.

  • Reverse-engineer the platform

Attempting to extract AI prompts, scrape the API, decompile or copy the software, or reconstruct the proprietary review methodology.

  • Use the platform for competitive intelligence at scale

Systematically generating reports on competitors' vendors or products to build a commercial competitive intelligence database.

  • Submit false or misleading company profile data

Providing inaccurate compliance context to manipulate review outputs, or impersonating another organization.

  • Interfere with the platform's operation

Launching denial-of-service attacks, submitting large numbers of automated requests, or otherwise impairing the service for other users.

3. Team member responsibilities

If you are a company admin who has invited team members to your Vensider.io workspace, you are responsible for ensuring your team members comply with this policy. Violations by team members may result in consequences for the entire workspace.

Team members should only use Reviews for legitimate, work-related vendor assessments. If a team member leaves your organization, you should promptly remove their access from Settings → Team.

4. Review accuracy and reliance

Vensider.io Reviews are AI-generated research summaries based on publicly available information. They are not security audits, penetration test reports, or professional certifications.

Do not rely solely on Vensider.io output for high-stakes decisions such as processing sensitive health, financial, or personal data with a new vendor, meeting regulatory compliance obligations, or contractual vendor security attestation. Use Reviews as one input in a broader risk management process.

5. Vendor data and fairness

Vensider.io analyzes publicly available vendor documentation. We strive for fairness in how vendors are assessed, but automated AI analysis has inherent limitations. Vendors who believe they have been materially misrepresented in a public Vensider.io report may contact us at [email protected] with specific factual corrections.

6. Enforcement

We may take any of the following actions in response to a violation:

  • Issue a warning and require remediation
  • Suspend or terminate the offending user account
  • Suspend or terminate the entire company workspace
  • Pursue legal action where warranted

We will always try to communicate clearly before taking drastic action unless the violation is severe (e.g., fraud, data theft, active system abuse).

7. Reporting violations

If you observe misuse of the platform or have concerns about how a Review is being used, please contact us at [email protected]. We investigate all credible reports.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.
